THE GRAND BOOK
Arjan Brentjes | Animation | 20’00’’
A young woman lives on the streets in a city that, in style and development, is reminiscent of the 1920s. The city has an inescapable surveillance system, as invasive as our world of Big Tech. The main character learns that the only place to escape from this can be in the world of her dreams.

ISKANDER
Donnya Zidan | Live-Action | 15’00’’
It’s the year 1976. Iskander, a young, promising astronomical talent, left his homeland of Egypt to join a team of leading astronomers in Amsterdam for a major scientific study of black holes. Tonight, he will share their findings at a long-awaited symposium. Scarred by childhood trauma, Iskander tries to keep his psychotic episodes at bay. With the pressure of anticipation hitting its peak, his troubles have reached a boiling point.
