Every session, you can watch short films straight from our Official Selection, followed by a ‘gezellige’ Q&A with the teams. The Sessions are English spoken, and the films are subtitled in English.
After each screening, we interview the team behind the film and get to know more about their process and vision.

ANS (63), her husband JAAP (65), and their son HARRY (29) have been regular guests at their all-inclusive hotel on the Dutch coast for years. This year is no different, and it promises to be another fantastic week. But suddenly, Harry is overcome by emotions he’s never experienced before. Ans notices her son only has attention from the hotel’s receptionist, SALMA (24) and realizes she can no longer mother him. Jaap encourages his wife to give their son some space, with comedic and uncomfortably painful situations.

“Only the Forgotten is New” follows the 85-year-old Klaus writing a letter to his deceased Nazi father. Klaus is on a journey exploring his memories and emotions about their traumatizing relationship during the Second World War
