Every session, you can watch short films straight from our Official Selection, followed by a ‘gezellige’ Q&A with the teams. The Sessions are English spoken, and the films are subtitled in English.
After each screening, we interview the team behind the film and get to know more about their process and vision.

Senna is a 16-year-old eager to spread her wings and experience life on her own terms. But her mother, who has always been protective and overbearing, is determined to keep a tight grip on her daughter’s life. Senna longs for independence and autonomy but, at the same time, feels a sense of loyalty to her mother that will never be broken. It’s a story about letting go, making your own choices and becoming an adult. It’s about my mum and me, my mum and her mum, my aunts and my grannie and maybe one day my future self as a mum.

After breaking up with her relationship, Wendy is forced to take on a new challenge; she returns to the student house. With reluctance and a broken heart, she tries to pick up the thread again.
